This gauge can be used to measure the offset between two plates over welds, fit-up bars, landing rings or any other object up to and including 1" that might obstruct quick measuring of two plates where the Bridgecam Gauge fails.
It can also be used to measure offset of plates in gored elbows, as seen frequently in duct work, for fit-up including the angle of the parts.
